We wrote about the E Ink Vizplex in a previous article called E Ink Gadgets, and we can tell you that this display technology introduced at SID Display Week 2008 in US is made of microencapsulated electronic ink coated onto an ITO-coated plastic layer in a rolling process. After that, the ink film combines with a thin adhesive and a plastic release sheet. The active matrix electronic paper display fits 1.9 inches, 5 inches, 6 inches, 8 inches and 9.7 inches screens.
