A new “bling-bling” notebook is in town, so all you rich geeks out there prepare your wallets! The MacBook Air has 24 karat gold plating and is decorated with a gold version of the classic rainbow Apple.
The rainbow is optional when you buy the notebook and beside the 14 karat gold that it is made of, the 3.8ctw sapphires add a greater value to it. Even that it has the gold plating, polished and crystallite exterior, this is a standard MacBook Air with a 1.6GHz processor, 2 GB DDR2 RAM and 80 GB HDD.
Now let’s touch the sensitive part of this story - pricing! Well, the price has been set to $5000 USD only for the notebook, if you like to add the classic rainbow you must pay another extra $3000 USD, so the final price would be $8000 USD.
