First Phone Gaming Controller

Zeemote JS1 is a new device with high-end capabilities resulting from the partnership between the famous cell phones manufacturer Sony Ericsson and Zeemote, a company specialized in intelligent wireless controllers for mobile devices.


Sony Ericsson will offer the Zeemote JS1 free, in Netherlands, as a retail promotion, starting August 8 and ending on October 31. The gaming controller features Bluetooth wireless technology and customers will be able to get it after purchasing the new cell phone model with Zeemote Ready games, which includes 14 games available for download on Sony Ericsson Netherlands.

"Adding a new dimension, such as controllers for mobile gaming, gives us and our customers a competitive edge!"
Zeemote JS1 has a thumb stick and 4 assignable trigger buttons, weighting 47 grams, being the best controller for wireless gaming on the cell phone.

Sony Ericsson camera phone W760i works on the GSM 850/900/1800/1900 frequencies and comes with 3D HSDPA connectivity for high-speed data rates, a 2.2-inch TFT display of 256K colors, cool backgrounds, MP3 player, stereo speakers, 1000 phonebook entries, Memory Stick Micro slot, 40MB internal memory, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0, email, RSS reader, web browser, a built-in 3.15MP camera, motion sensor for landscape mode, GPS receiver, push to talk, FM Radio with RDS, picture editor, organizer, voice memo and a Li-Po 930 mAh battery providing up to 9 hours of talk time or 400 hours of standby.
The gaming cell phone measures 103 x 48 x 15 mm at 103 grams and is available at around $400 unlocked.
