Zeemote JS1 is a new device with high-end capabilities resulting from the partnership between the famous cell phones manufacturer Sony Ericsson and Zeemote, a company specialized in intelligent wireless controllers for mobile devices.
The device allows you to have a console-like gaming experience on the Sony Ericsson W760i, a mobile handset launched in May this year.

Sony Ericsson will offer the Zeemote JS1 free, in Netherlands, as a retail promotion, starting August 8 and ending on October 31. "Sony Ericsson prides itself on bringing intuitive technologies to its customers. We recently announced the motion gaming F305 and we're delighted to be giving our Netherlands customers the opportunity to be the first to own an award winning Zeemote JS1 controller," said Max Van Den Berg, General Manager at Sony Ericsson Benelux. "Adding a new dimension, such as controllers for mobile gaming, gives us and our customers a competitive edge!"

"Mobile gaming will never be the same as the Zeemote JS1 launches through our first commercial relationship with Sony Ericsson". Said Jim Adams, VP of Worldwide Sales at Zeemote. "We are delighted to partner with Sony Ericsson and give users even more of a reason to buy the feature
packed W760i. This agreement is the first of a number of deals we intend to announce over the coming months."

Sony Ericsson camera phone W760i works on the GSM 850/900/1800/1900 frequencies and comes with 3D HSDPA connectivity for high-speed data rates, a 2.2-inch TFT display of 256K colors, cool backgrounds, MP3 player, stereo speakers, 1000 phonebook entries, Memory Stick Micro slot, 40MB internal memory, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0, email, RSS reader, web browser, a built-in 3.15MP camera, motion sensor for landscape mode, GPS receiver, push to talk, FM Radio with RDS, picture editor, organizer, voice memo and a Li-Po 930 mAh battery providing up to 9 hours of talk time or 400 hours of standby.
