If you are interested in finding a good Fujifilm digital camera, the FinePix S6000fd may just be an excellent choice. This digital camera comes with 6.3 megapixels and a 10.7X optical zoom for a price as low as $500.

This Fujifilm digital camera is actually quite easier to use than it really appears. There isn’t a big number of buttons on this camera. The mode dial is large and it is located on the top right of this digital camera.  The dimensions of this camera are 5.2 x 3.8 x 5.0 which means that this in not just one of those cameras which is going to fit into just any pocket. This Fujifilm digital camera runs on four AA batteries and the total weight of the camera is 25.19 ounces. The camera is available in no other color except black and it has a matte finish which means it is not exactly a fingerprint magnet. The electronic viewfinder is quite small for a camera of the caliber of this Fuji S6000fd. The LCD on the back of the camera measures 2.5 inches in diagonal.

The camera comes with a lot of basic and special features which are combined to bring you this great digital camera. It has only 10 MB of internal memory but the xD card storage, you can easily upgrade to get a lot more free space to store your pictures. You will receive special software compatible with Macs and PCs together. This camera features 14 preset scene modes to better shoot your pictures. You can even record some clips and the camera can also capture sound. The picture stabilization feature is the one that is going to help you reduce blurring when the camera or the subject is in motion. It has 3 continuous shooting modes and auto exposure bracketing mode. You also get 3 colors modes plus sharpness adjustments. The white balance is adjustable with 8 different options. There is also a self timer (you can choose between 2 and 10 seconds) for delayed shutter release.

Inside the package you will receive this Fujifilm FinePix S6000fd digital camera together with some other goodies: a wrist strap, four AA alkaline batteries, a lens cap plus one lens cap holder, a lens hood, one AV plus one USB cable and CD-ROM software. Just like any other electronic gadget, this digital camera also comes with a few negative aspects which may not be that disturbing, but they are worth mentioning anyway. The electronic viewfinder is considered hard to use and there is no optical image stabilization (only picture stabilization). The camera is too big to fit into just any pocket and this may be a problem for people that always like to carry their digital camera around because you never know when you may have to take a good picture. In the end, this is a very responsive digital camera, which only comes with minor flaws. The price is very low considering that you will receive a high quality camera. And it also looks very professional as well.
