We love rumors, right? Because they make us wonder, they make us ask questions and try to find the truth. But not always. Sometimes they do nothing but harm. In this case, however, it might turn out to be a piece of very good news, if rumors will prove to be true.

Therefore, we don’t know for sure, but it seems that there is something happening in the Zune world, because some new pictures are circulating over the Internet these days, presenting what is supposed to be the fourth generation of the Zune MP3 players. Dubbed Zune HD, the device has recently appeared in the spotlight, but first it was thought to be just a concept. “Sources close to Zune†said that this isn’t a concept, but the next Zune MP3 player or the new iPhone competitor, depends on how you want to call it.
For those who don’t know it by now, Zune was developed by Microsoft, being the company’s debut into the portable multimedia device area. Even if Zune comes with impressive features, it has always been overshadowed by the iPod, manufactured, as you all know, by Apple. The fourth generation of the Zune MP3 players is expected to be equipped with a touchscreen display and a bunch of features that are very similar to the iPod Touch, but the full list of specs is still unknown for the moment.

Even if the information is based on rumors, it seems that, in fact, this is the next Zune MP3 player. So, iPod, you’d better watch out!
