The Flux PC concept is an ultra-portable computer that can be worn on your wrist and consists of three parts: the bracelet, a foldable display and the inductive charging tray.
It is designed based on the following principles: flexibility, mobility, friendly user interface and fashionable.

The bracelet, similar with the Chocolate E-Paper concept, stores the wearer’s personal information and connects wirelessly with the foldable display that provides multimedia features accessed via a touch-sensitive interface.
If you check my previous story about the Butterfly Knife MP3/CD Player concept you will see that the display design is based on the same system, but this time we have a screen and not a portable music player.

This opening/closing system is used to be easier to carry the display in small spaces such as a shirt pocket or a purse and when folded the two margins open at a 90 degrees angle.
I will give you an example of a situation when the Flux PC concept would be useful.

Let’s say one day you are walking on the street going to a local store to make the food supply for the next week and you’re wearing a nice and large stainless steel bracelet with a shiny finish.
Suddenly you hear an alert and as you touch the bracelet it transforms into the Flux OLED interface displaying details about one of your old friends situated in close proximity, so you plan to meet him and chat about the old times.

You take the Flux display out from your pocket and open it to see where exactly your friend is in that moment and then you go to meet him.
At a wave of your hand, the Flux bracelet gets the stainless steel look back.
This is just an example but you can see other scenarios in the presentation pictures.

Flux PC’s bracelet has the capability to change its appearance according to the user’s tastes; it can look as a golden bracelet, wood and other materials.
It is a great companion capable of learning the user’s habits, and it also responds to gestures, like for example in the morning when you are woken up by the alarm clock, you just wave your hand and the ringtone stops.

Your behaviors are learned in time and so you could benefit from specific recommendations from Flux such as scheduled activities, strategies, routines, diet plans, just like a virtual trainer helping you to achieve your goals in a shorter time.

The portable display measures about 10 x 12 x 0.5 inches and both the Flux display and the bracelet can be recharged on the inductive charging dish that can be used also as an automatic mass data back-up system in case the other components are lost or stolen.
Flux is made of recyclable materials, glass/metals decorations, easy-replaceable modular components, and compressed natural wood bi-product-based housing.
The bracelet’s display has an injection molded polishes polycarbonate domed surface over a flexible touch-sensitive layer.
