The e-ink technology is sometimes referred to as the appanage of nerd people who know nothing but the development of the technology, who are always seeking for the most innovative products available in the market and who are very difficult to satisfy, even if what they are offered are pretty good things, but not better than their expectations.

When talking about such things, you always run the risk of being laughed at and described as the biggest nerd of all times. However, you shouldn’t be afraid of being interested in a e-ink Phospor watch, just like the ones that I’m going to tell you about.

The best thing about these watches is that they’re the living proof that the e-ink technology isn’t phantasmagoric, as many of us might think. You’ll be able to find an electronic ink display on a real product, not only on concept designs that might never hit the mass production.

There are three different watches, the Digital Hour Clock, the Digital Calendar and the Ana-Digi, models that you can choose from when looking for the watch to be suitable to your needs and personality.

The Digital Hour Clock has a case with ergonomic curves and with a very thin profile, as you saw in the picture above. As I said earlier, the digital display was made with the help of the E ink technology, which is still ground-breaking, even if there are more and more products that come with it. These watches can be read very easy by you and by others, who will surely notice you, and have two different modes, including the standard digital display and the graphic hour clock display.

The minutes are displayed in a very ingenious way: it alternated (automatically) between white figures on black background and the other way around, black figures on white. The case measures 38.0 millimeters in width and 8.0 millimeters in thickness. The watches are resistant to water, to a pressure of 5 ATM and a depth of 50 meters.

There are three versions you can choose from: one with stainless steel band, one with black leather band and last, but not least, with a black polyurethane band. The three of them can be purchased for no more than $195, which is the most expensive one.
