Is the world ready for a new PMP model? As if everyone was chasing after these devices like crazy, the Chinese wholesaler Egoman presents its latest PMP model. It’s hard to tell whether this is going to be a hit or merely an Asian bluff, because personal multimedia players are somewhat shadowed by iPods and PDAs. But the latest Egoman PMP tries to make point with a host of cool features.

The actual model denomination is MP810RSTD-43 and to begin with, it strikes us with a 4.3-inch touchscreen that supports 16.7 million colors and a 480 x 272-pixel resolution. Not bad, especially for playing WVI and RMVB movie formats at 30 fps. It measures in at a robust 80(L) x 40(W) x 7.2(D)mm footprint and further includes audio support for MP3, WMA, ADPCM, WAV, APC, FLAC as well as for picture formats such as JPG,BMP,GIF. It also comes standard with a a built-in FM tuner and the possibility to record sound in ADPCM/WMA digital audio formats. Check out some other features:

Unfortunately, the PMP isn't yet available and the price hasn't been revealed.
