Cool Tattoos

Every one of us is unique. Everything we do, everything we choose defines us as an individual person. For example our clothes, we dress up colorful because  we are happy, or dark because we are suffering a deception.

Now let's talk about things that you choose to change about yourself permanently. Let's talk about tattoos.

Anyone can do it, you just need courage, you need not to be afraid of needles and pain, and to have an image that you would like to "carry" on with you for the rest of your life.

Samuel O'Reilly is the man who invented the tattoo machine in 1981, since then the technology hasn't  changed that much.

Tattoos are still made by small punctures with a needle that is dipped into ink and moves up and down the skin almost like a sewing machine.

The modern electric tattoo is an evolution of the machine invented by O'Reilly. Nowadays it's structure is different, modern tattoo machines use electromagnetic coils unlike the old one witch was based on the rotary technology of the electric engraving device.

A tattoo machine is  not a very complicated machine, it's a small electric instrument that uses a tube and a needle system. On one end is needle(which has to be sterilized), which is attached to tubes that contain ink.The machine is turned on by a foot switch that moves the needle in and out, putting the ink about 3 millimetres into your skin. The ink, once inserted into the body, past the epidermis,  into the dermis,  the ink  molecules are permanent.

Because we are talking about evolution, today a cool tattoo is not "so" permanent as it was 50 years ago. Why? Because we have options.

OPTION No. 1

Make a semi permanent tattoo

The scientists from Harvard , Brown , and Duke Univesities have discovered safe, permanent, and easily removable tattoo inks, which are made from tiny microcapsules of natural pigments. These inks are made to be removed with just one laser treatment, with a lesser risk of infections and all the health problems that are common when you're having a tattoo with permanent ink. So if you are not sure that the tattoo you've chosen will  represent you in the future, the semi permanent tattoo is a good choice.

OPTION No. 2

If you have a cool tattoo made with permanent ink that doesn't mean you're stuck with it for the rest of  your life. Modern technology gives us several alternative of removing it. One option can be laser removal. This works by breaking the ink in very small pieces with pulses of highly concentrated light, after that your immune system will clear the ink fragments away.  Another option is intense pulsed light therapy which replaces the laser light with high intensity light almost in the same way.  The disadvantage of this way of removing you tattoo is the price which can be almost $10 per pulse and I doubt too many individual health insurance plans cover that.

If those first two options did not thrilled you, and you would like to do it yourself, then you can with cream removals. Two of the most popular products in are TaBGone and Tattoo-OFF. Both oh them are cheaper and first two options , a 2 month supply of Tat B Gone is $125, and it takes a couple of months to get to the result that you wish for, according to the Tattoo Removal Institute. A 2 month supply of Tattoo-OFF is $116.95.

Even if we have alternatives today, getting inked is a big commitment. Whether you choose a tattoo that represents something special, or you get one by mistake, tattoos are meant to be permanent.
