Since the beginning of October, Motorola launched a few cool new gadgets mobile communication and entertainment.
In the first day of this month, the company that introduced the world's first WiMAX laptop adaptor for supporting mobile broadband Internet, preparing for the upcoming highest-speed draft N wireless standard, introduced a new cell phone destined to active people, called MOTOACTV W450, at a suggested retail price of $159.99. It is available exclusively at T-Mobile in the United States in a sporty design and some eye-catching colors.
Several useful functionalities hide under a rubberized and durable external layer, such as a built-in 1.3MP camera with 8x zoom, email, CrystalTalk technology for crystal clear communications with reduced background noises, Bluetooth, MP3 player, expandable memory up to 2GB, and instant access to ringtones, images and wallpapers via the one-touch t-zones key.
The most interesting feature of this new handset is the Mayo Clinic In Touch software, which provides access to information and help sources if you develop allergic reactions like after your skin gets in contact with poison ivy.

On October 6, Motorola released the Rapture VU30 at Verizon Wireless. This is another cell phone with clamshell design, like the previous model described, sporting rounded edges and looking almost identical to Motorola ROKR U9 , a cell phone preferred among pink items when it comes to cool new gadgets, according to Reevoo.

Rapture VU30 has an external touchscreen, a very rare feature, which gives the user access the built-in 2MP digital camera or the music player, without opening the handset.
Verizon Wireless offers lots of useful entertainment solutions like 5 million songs for purchase and download over-the-air, and the VZ Navigator for mapping purposes.
The phone supports video recording, expandable memory up to 8GB, and has an online price of $129.99 with a 2-year agreement.

Motorola MOTO VU204 also is available at Verizon Wireless, with Instant Messaging, email, picture messaging, a VGA digital camera with 4x digital zoom, and Bluetooth wireless transfers. The new clamshell is a good solution for people who like to keep in touch with friends and send them pictures with funny moments while traveling.
It has a price of $29.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a 2-year customer agreement.

After all these new cell phones, Motorola needed to add a high-quality Bluetooth wireless headset, and this is the MOTOPURE H15, a universal model that works with any cell phone having this technology enabled.
It is an improvement of the previous model already available on the market, the MOTOPURE H12, delivering a practical flip design for comfort and the best background noise cancellation technology, CrystalTalk.
The headset is priced at $129.99, but includes a travel charger, extra car cushions, charging cradle and the user guide. In addition, it features RapidConnect Flip microphone which allows the wearer to open it for talking and close it when not needed to saving battery, the Quick charge for 1 hour of talk time after just 15 minutes of charging, Multipoint for simultaneous connectivity to 2 Bluetooth-enabled cell phones, TrueComfort design with multiple ear cushions, Simple Start with the EasyPair technology for ease of use, and Power to talk 3-color display showing the battery state in 3 power levels.

A cool new gadget for your family during a hollyday is the pair of 2-way radios called the Talkabout EM1000R. Motorola thinks of it as a great emergency communication tool that works like a walkie-talkie, allowing 2 people get in contact from 20 miles distance.
You can do a lot of things with these. For example, you can set them to alert you in case of power outages at home, use the LED flashlight in dark environments, access 7 National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and 4 Environment Canada weather channels with non-stop broadcasts, and talk handsfree using the iVOX speech feature.
The 2-way radios can be charged in several ways: with the standard method, using a dual drop-in charger, with the miniUSB port and the miniUSB car charger, or AA alkaline batteries for a quicker solution, which provides up to 31 hours of continuous use.
In addition, you get audible low-battery alerts, battery save, emergency checklist alert, keypad lock, talk confirmation, and time-out timer.
Motorola Talkabout EM1000R uses 22 channels, each with 121 privacy codes for 2,662 possible communication combinations without interferences, thanks to the Quiet Talk function.
For so many features, the 2-way radios have a very affordable price of just $69.99.
