What is so special about this scanner? Well, not only does it have this very odd shape, but it is extremely portable.



The best part is that is only costs $129. It can be connected to your computer or laptop via one of the USB ports and it comes with the necessary software. You can scan papers onto your computer in an instant and the miracle is that this scanner is as light as 10.9 ounces. It takes all its power from the laptop or computer so it does not come with an AC adapter. In the package, you get the USB cable, the necessary scanning software, leatherette and a quick start guide. This scanner can automatically crop, rotate and clean up the image and it can save your files in PDF, PNG and JPEG. You can upload the documents that you scan directly on Google Docs or Picasa. Isn’t this invention a real deal?

The next electronic gadget on my list is very simple, but it offers a fast and great solution for both charging thing and keeping all those cables from lying around in your home. The Wall Mountable Charging Station, as you can probably tell by the name, can be mounted on your wall and it offers the advantage of hiding all those ugly and tangled up cables. If you slide the front open, the charging spot will all be revealed and you can plug in and charge different devices. The surge protector has to be purchased separately from the actual charging station. You can buy this gizmo in either black or white, whichever suit the color on your walls best. $30 is the price of the charging station and for the surge protector (which included 6 outlets) you have to pay another $13. I would say it’s a small price if you care about having a neat and tidy living room.



Speaking of cool electronic gadgets, don’t you think that it’s time to speak about something really fun? I cannot write about the last items without laughing. Even if April Fool’s day has passed. It is never too late to pull a prank on a good friend or a family member. The TV Poltergeist Phantom Prank Remote control is a device which is simply crazy. This little gizmo costs only $13, but I am sure that is going to provide you with some serious laughter. The device is programmed in such a way that it can turn on an off a TV at regular time intervals. It comes with 3 AA batteries but the disadvantage is that it has to be placed in such a manner so that it points directly at the TV. Think about all the fun you are going to have when mom can’t watch her favorite soap opera.
