When someone makes a referal to Verbatim, all I can think of consists of the compact discs I have had the chance to write my music and movies on since the first day I bought my computer, back when I was a little girl. I had no idea they manufactur other products, besides the data storage ones, including “floppy disks, magnetic tape, USB flash drives, memory Cards and recordable CD and DVD media” (Wikipedia).

Well, it seems that Verbatim does more than just storage solutions, so they joined the hardware world. And now we’re happy to present to all of you the Color Nano Wireless Notebook Mouse. You know that whenever a company comes with a new product, the first thing to take into consideration is that they will have to bring something ingenious, that, preferably, has never been seen before. Which, you have to admit, is hard.

So, let’s what why the Verbatim Color Nano Wireless Notebook Mouse is special. First of all, it’s compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems, which is great for those who don’t want to bother themselves with all sorts of solutions to adapt the inadequate mouse to their computers. Second of all, the mouse is equipped with the 2.4GHz technology, which is “stuffed” in a very small form factor nano receiver.

For those who are interested in matching their peripherals to the overall design of the room/office, you should know there’s a wide variety of colors to choose from: blue, graphite, green, pink, purple, red and yellow. As I said earlier, the nano receiver is very small so you won’t have to unplug it from the USB 2.0 port of your notebook everytime you are on the go.

“As with the new notebooks that have emerged, our Color Nano Mice enable mobile users to meet their computing needs in a space-savvy way”, said Ron Hanafin, the Product Marketing Manager at Verbatim. “They have the reliability and performance of the Verbatim brand, while also giving people the flexibility to use color to personalize their computing lifestyle”.

The mouse is expected to become available via Verbatim retail stores for a price of no more than $29.99.
