Collect the Sun Light with the Solar Jar

The Solar Sun Jar started as a concept design created by Tobias Wong and became a real product that won the UK Gift of the Year 2007.
It is a green product built in such a way to inspire a jar capable of collecting the sunshine during day to illuminate your room in the night.
To use it you need to keep it in the garden or under a powerful enough artificial light and it will collect the sun energy via the solar cell.
In the night it will glow for many hours spreading enough light around and you can carry it with you to light your way in the dark as a candle light.
The Sun Jar is made of frosted glass and contains a solar cell, battery and LED lights.
