Design means applied engineering and arts. Design stands at the basis of creating an object. Process is also a product of design and it is called process design. The person that designs is called designer.: concept designer, fashion designer and web designer. Designing takes into consideration functional, aesthetic and other aspects. The process of design can take many forms depending on individual participating and on the object that is being designed. We need to apply common structure whether we are talking of consumer products, games or even our own life. The selection, classification and identification of constraints is the first step in the design process.

A different process is required for something that is redesigned than for something that is designed for the first time. When we redesign we evaluate the existing design and see what needs to be redesigned. Designers follow several steps in order to conclude the design process. Here are the design’s process stages: design brief, analysis, research, specification, documenting, presentation, development, implementation, evaluation and conclusion.

Design is more considered to be a form of art. Design tries to create something that is both aesthetically pleasing functional. The relationship between production and design is one of executing and planning. Design involves creativity and problem-solving. The keyboard layout is an arrangement of the keys on a typewriter, computer or other typographic keyboard. Christopher Latham Sholes and partners were the ones that invented in 1867 the first mechanical typewriter. At the beginning the keys were placed alphabetically but because of the speed of typing these were broken too often so this has led to QWERTY keyboard layout.  Next step was electric typewriters and then finally the keyboards used for personal computers. The website that hosts photoblogs, weblogs and social networking profiles is called xanga. It began as a site for sharing music reviews and books in 1999.Xanga is one of the most visited sites and has forty million users. The members of Xanga receive a Xanga Site which contains a photoblog, audioblog, weblog and a videoblog. Members can also make blogrings. Weblogs were first added to Xanta’s site on 5 November 2000. The concept of ,,eProps ‘’ was soon added on 8 December 2000. This ,,ePop’’ can be given to another user at his entry in Xanga. The maximum amount that can be given is of2 ,,ePops’’. The cool part of Xanga is that you can subscribe to other Xangas, this gives you the opportunity to stay in touch without needing to visit their site. You are able to subscribe by using the ability to display subscriptions RSS. At first anonymously subscriptions were allowed but some users were troubled so in the middle of 2003, this feature was disconnected. Subscriptions were called SIR which means ,,sites I read.’’

Many internal policies require the corporations to have e-mail signatures. In Germany , companies have to specify the company’s name, place and number of registration. On the other hand, on internet forums the rules are not so strict. A signature can be a simple one or even images are allowed. Signatures are seen as a personal touch for the ones that create them . You can add footers right at the end of the message or below the text. You can have several footers and separate conditions for them are created. Several footers can be sent in the same message, for example a general company disclaimer and your personal signature .
