Shelby SuperCars' Ultimate Aero has received a number of refinements for the 2009 model year, after holding the "World’s Fastest Production Car" title for the year of 2008. The SSC engineering team equipped the 2009 Ultimate Aero with a 15% boost in horsepower, a revamped front fascia design, and a range of significant interior upgrades. A SSC-designed, 1-piece billet aluminum engine block is the most significant change for this model. SSC is able to boost the power output to 1287 horsepower while improving durability, thanks to the new block improves structural integrity and oiling capabilities.

Thanks to the more powerful new engine, the '09 Ultimate Aero will be able to reach world-record speeds of 270 MPH. SSC asked the American company Aeromotive to create a faultless system, in order to accommodate the '09 Ultimate Aero's unique fuel system requirements. Carbon fiber louvers on the side intakes draw in an additional 20% of air into the radiators for improved cooling. The '09 Ultimate Aero also features the AeroBrakeTM, a rear spoiler system that deploys under braking circumstances. The rear spoilers are finished in carbon fiber, and actuate up an additional 8" when the brake pedal is depressed. The speed of the spoiler actuation is set by the amount of brake pedal pressure. If you want to disable the entire AeroBrakeTM, you only have to push of a button, in cases such as town driving or situations where braking and downforce assistance are not necessary.

The new center console features a built-in digital temperature control unit and tire pressure monitor togheter with an Azentek PC base Infotainment unit. The ground-breaking Azentek unit provides all the abilities of a PC and processes SSC's onboard diagnostic software.

iPhone 3GS has the same design as the first model having the same external control and the shape. Memory sizes are available in black and white and it is more resistant to smudges and fingerprints. As simple and intuitive the interface is , swiping through multiple pages is tedious and if you are not an organized freak, it is painful to drag applications from page to page . The camera has no editing features but has  a decent photo quality. Many basic VGA camera phones have standard options like self-timer, digital zoom and white balance while Apple didn’t include them at first. Tapping the square adjust the exposure, contract, colour ,  white balance and focuses the camera automatically. Just tap the display at your chosen point, if you’d rather focus on the edge of your shot, and the square moves with you. The camera will focus the entire frame, if you don’t tap anywhere.

For example, we were able to get a clear reading on the book’s title if we photographed a book cover sitting on a desk. The title became somewhat blurry if we shifted the focus away from the book. The entire picture would appear brighter if we focused on the brightest part of an image and the same goes for the darker part. But don’t expect miracles because iPhone still doesn’t come with a flash.



It didn’t feel like a big difference the new automatic macro setting.

On the other hand, the new automatic macro setting didn't appear to make much of a difference. Close-up shots looked slightly better on the iPhone 3GS than they did on the iPhone 3G, but we couldn't tell when the macro focus was working and when it wasn't. As with the autofocus feature, the macro setting is a welcome addition, but we'd prefer to have more control over it. Drawing is one of the major forms within the visual arts and is also a form of visual expression . Drawing is emphasising an observation, composition and problem solving .

In car design marker sketching is an essential skill . I will show you a cool car drawing using the following tools : Chartpak markers, BIC black ballpoint pen and a A3 marker sketchbook . First we draw the basic car  including the wheels . In nice proportion, we sketch and add shapes to the basic volume of the car. Shape of the side skirts and the bumper by adding more details, like side mirrors. In order to figure out surface treatment, add cross section . Bring a few details into interior .  First Put colour over shaded areas and then you can add basic body colour. For the reflection , leave some white space . To define shapes more precisely , add another layer of marke . You can add more contract is you want to . To simulate the sky reflection  , add highlight reflections . With a drop of red you can add more detail to the rear light and wheels . To make the sketch pop out of the canvas , create at least a sign of the environment  .

The darker colour of the background  it improves the overall perception of the sketch and also improves the contrast . For the final touch, you can correct minor mistakes and can the image to Photoshop and play with the contract and brightness until you are satisfied with the result .

The next cool car drawing I will show you how to draw Ford Model T , this is an old model . You can use a B lead of a mechanical pencil . But you can easier draw the lines with a finer pencil. This is not so important, in fact you can draw with any kind of pencil. I suggested the B pencils because they are easier grade to use when you are learning , due to the softer lead . The item that you must have nearby , is the eraser . Look at the  car and you will see how simple it seems to draw it. Drawing is in fact very simple.

I’ve heard something interesting that I will share to you, someone told me that if you look at your drawing in the mirror, you will see the mistakes more clearly or just have a break and look at your drawing the next day.



This is how to make a retro car drawing on your computer: first of all you need to create a new file, then choosing the Paint Bucket Tool you can paint the layer in white. And with anew layer you will create the car’s contour. To represent very accurate contours use Stroke Path. The layer containing the contours can be erased by moving it on the recycle icon.. By using the Brush Tool you can paint the car. With the command Make Selection you can select a Pen Tool to mark out all the details. With Gradient Tool you can add volume. Grey-dark and white colours are used to process the metallic part. For tires we use dark colour. Except the background’s layer, you can merge all the other layers. First we have to copy the car’s layer, selecting Image-Adjustments-Brightness-Contrast you can represent the car in this layer in black colour. By using Edit-Transform-Distort you can move this layer by distorting it a little. To blur the shadow you can use Filter-Blur-Motion Blur. With the Eyedrop tool you can paint the new layer and change it with Blending Mode. Gradient Tool is necessary to apply a darker part and on Overlay change the layer’s Blending Mode. The reflexes are inserted on the grey parts. To create a picture frame you can choose Rectangular Tool and Crop Tool.



A cool car drawing will be great after some practice. So don’t give up. You can use all the tools that are best for you.  To practice. Draw anything you see. It will help your future performances. The scanning process and the drawing will improve with time. The bad parts from drawing will disappear after consistent practice .
