On August 30 Maxton company released version 2.0.3.4552 of Maxthon Internet browser.


Maxthon browser is based on the Internet Explorer engine and has many interesting features like Tabbed Browsing, Mouse Gestures, Maxthon Smart Acceleration, Magic Fill, Feed Reader, URL Alias, Utilities for adding shortcuts of programs in the browser, and start them with a single click, Ad Hunter, Web Sniffer which helps in finding the real URLs of FLV video file on those online video website, Screen Capture, URL Key, Web Bar, Super Proxy, Online Favorites Service, Undo List, Super Drag&Drop, and browser Anti-Freeze.

Changes in the latest version include:
- Link added to Online Favorites Recovery
- Added Prompt dialog when switching user
- Groups Menu's show/hide states will not be determined by whether user has Groups Data

LiquiBase is an open source, DBMS-independent library for manage database changes and refactorings.
Structure and data changes are stored XML files located in version control with other source code.

Its features include the support for merging of changes from multiple developers, a Database Refactoring IDE-Plugin, support for rolling back changes, and the ability to create DIFFs from which it can generate logs.

LiquiBase supports the following databases: MySQL, Postgre SQL, MS-SQL, Sybase, DB2, Apache Serby, HSQL, H2 and InterSystems Cache.
In case of using LiquiBase with an unsupported database, the problem that could interfere if it won’t succeed running is that it could not determine the correct date/time function.
If this happens it can be passed to the currentDateTimeFunction argument that will override the function used in SQL.

What the new version LiquiBase 2.1 brings new are the support for H2 database, InterSystems Cache database and change, improved error messages, < comment > tag, absolute change log file references, ";" or "go" delimitations in tag, and clearCheckSums in the command line migrator.

LiquiBase can be downloaded or upgraded by simply replacing the liquibase.jar file.

Sky was created in collaboration with Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, U.K. Astronomy Technology Center in Edinburgh and Caltech's Palomar Observatory in California.

It won’t be of much help for professional astronomers but for common people, a virtual tour of the space will mean something extraordinary while watching cosmic events as they occur.
And more than that, it can be a start point for those that have penchant for astronomy, and probably will increase the interest in physics or information technology.
As S. George Djorgovski astronomy professor at California Institute of Technology said, "There is a huge need to get more young people interested in science."

VOEventNet project of The Caltech Center for Advanced Computing Research, that linked a number of telescopes creating a virtual observatory, developed a software that works with Sky allowing its users to post images and videos with cosmic phenomena like colliding and exploding stars, gamma-ray bursts, and supernovae within minutes of their detection.

VOEventNet team intends that by March to add links that will let users track movement of asteroids.
