Civilization by Sid Meier and Mircroprose which is one of the best addictive and coolest games invented having a sustained level of game play satisfaction and rich composure. Being augmented from the quintessential research and from the developing model also blends exploration with conquests and economics and also diplomacy. You will become excited more and more as you discover the gun powder or erect the Pyramids or even colonize spacecraft to the Alpha Centauri. What is very exciting about his game is the fact that when you think that you have it all out of control and that all is in your favor , you discover new technologies that you may not posses or new lands that have to be conquered and you keep telling yourself 'just one hour more'. But we all know that never is the case.

The Red Baron from Sierra brought in 1990 has all the realistic features turned on. The rotary aircraft , machine guns everywhere, everything is just like it supposed to be. With the astonishing campaigns and the interesting missions tossed in together it is very unlikely that you will find a better experience for flying. It is selling on the market in spite of the old graphics for VGA. If you want the more modern option you could choose to buy the Red Baron II. For a flight fan, this is the best experience.
In 1993 appeared the best action game of all times, DOOM. It was an explosion on the market changing the PC into a very fast gaming machine although DOOM was not 3D.

When you think of the fact that Sim City from Maxis almost never got published on the grounds that the game will not satisfy the needs of the users it almost makes you laugh. You can build you city from scratch, continue the next day to ruin it or just discover all the new things and features that this game has to offer. You will evaluate your performances as you enjoy the game. Now, what would you like more from a game?
Interplay launched in 1991 Wasteland, an impressive story that is set in the post nuclear world with technology that disintegrates and a society full of mutant organisms that became dysfunctional. This was the first game that was every played with a party of members that were like real people and which replaced the old cabinets of inventory that had names and automatic skills from the start. If you ask to a party member to give you some ammo or to split the cash you will be surprised as you may get the 'Hell-No!' answer.

The first, coolest game that offered a realistic flying experience was the Falcon 3.0 introducing the first flight sim campaign. It is one of the top five games of the time that supported the feature of multi players and a testament to its design and quality is the fact that many people purchase it even today, so we recommended it too.

Psygnosis brought to you Lemmings, which is a diabolical puzzle game that starts with many simple challenges and works you firmly towards conundrums that will require your mouse to do split second timing. At its first release the version fro the PC had a very poor imitation of the Amiga predecessor but the 95 Windows updates included the Lemmings Paintball.
Zork that appeared in 1981 starts with a latter in the mailbox outside a white house and you start a magical journey from here into the the wonderful land of Frobozz. It has cute descriptive prose, combined challenges with puzzles with a bit of humor to make a rich and astonishing universe that will exist in your head not only in the SVGA graphics. All the users will spend all their time glued to the monitor trying to own the universe and protect it from dark Zork Nemesis. Beware, it's a very addictive and cool game.

In 1988 Tetris appears on the market and we think that this was the last attempt of the Soviet Union to destroy America and the productivity from its market and it would have succeeded if personal computers would have been more common back then. It would become an obsessive game the simple task of matching falling blocks, that bad ,that users would even dream about it.
One of the best war games was Panzer General from SSI that appeared in 1994 and most of the gamers wanted to be Lee or Patton or even Rommel just for one day and this game was made with this exact purpose, giving the user exciting and touch scenarios and campaigns. But do keep in mind that this is a hard game and a very realistic one, so not anyone should play it. It kind of lack of historical facts but in makes up on the variety of the challenges. This game made war games to be more fun and very good on the market.
The haunting tale from the insightful Ann Rice of games, Jane Jensen mixes the supernatural element with the psychological one having a very good game adventure interface and equipped with motion video, Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within is one of those addictive games that will scare you and make you stay up nights in a row.
Sid Meier made another addictive and cool game named 'Pirates!' in 1987, by Micropose. This is the better version of Amiga, with role playing and very smooth and combat ship control and the fastest sword playing that was ever on the market in those days.
If you are on the market for a good game and do not know what to buy do remember that one of the oldest games are the funniest and the most addictive. Enjoy!
