The shooter video game Halo 3 is the last part of the trilogy and promises to be “much more than a video game release; it’s the biggest entertainment event of the year,” as Peter Moore, the corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business said.

“On September 25, we intend to deliver a finale that will go down in entertainment history and leave people around the world with an experience that will be shared and enjoyed for years to come.”

Conceived at the beginning as a PC game, now it is intended to be launched as an online one.

The theme is based on a comic book series called Ramayan 3392 A.D., written by Shamik Dasgupta who inspired his story from the well known Hindu epic, Ramayana.
The action takes place after the Apocalypse and is about the battle between the last kingdom of humans and the demons, called Asuras.
