Cool Awesome Gadgets

This article is all about cool awesome gadgets which we came across and would like to share with you. How does a Black Box that cleans your hand and feet sound like? This special (and ugly) black box uses plasma gas and some other plasma ingredient which is normally used to sterilize the medical instruments. This little gizmo can sanitize one of your hands is almost 5 seconds. This gadget is most common for institutions like hospitals or hotels, spas and other beauty salons.

One of the cool awesome gadgets for men which we simply HAD to mention in this article is the Heineken Robot that serves beer. This little thingy is going to be the life of all your up-coming parties. This robot will come to anyone that waves his or her hand. When the robot has “received your order”, the tap will start to glow. When the tap starts glowing, you have to put your glass underneath so the golden liquid can start pouring. One peculiar thing is how this robot knows when the cup is filled as there are no specifications that the cup needs to have a certain size. I wonder if this robot (which we later found out that is still in the conceptual stage) could replace bartenders. Could you imagine a robot error that starts filling the bar with beer everywhere?

If someone gave me $410 right now, I would definitely order this Desktop Teeth Whitening Lamp. I mean, I do sit around the laptop all day so why not take advantage of this and to a tooth whitening treatment? It’s a great idea especially for smokers, coffee drinkers and anyone who has yellow teeth in general. I’m not sure how much a whitening treatment costs at a dentist or specialized salon but the prices are spicy so why not pay the $410 at once and get a whitening treatment whenever you want and in the comfort of your own home. You don’t even need to make any free time to do this treatment as you can do it while you are working on the computer. The strong blue light will activate the whitening gel and this gel oxidizes the teeth pigment using denting tubes. The process will take about 30 minutes. This whitening treatment is definitely way better than the tradition whitening toothpaste or other gels and products that you have to apply on your teeth daily.

The last item on this cool awesome gadgets list is the Wireless Car Sticker. This sticker will start to glow whenever it detects a wireless signal but you have some work to do on your own. You will need and USB car adapter and some stick tape to get things going. You can put it anywhere you like in the car, even on the back so the cars behind you can see when they are in a wireless signal zone. It’s ideal for when you want to go to a coffee shop that has a wireless hotspot and don’t want to get out of the car all the time and ask to see if that bar has wireless signal.

Coolest Playing Cards Ever

Whether you are at home, at a picnic, at a barbecue, out camping or just need something to do on a rainy Sunday afternoon, card playing is always a nice and interactive option. Card playing is one of the oldest ways of entertainment, before Monopoly and Family Feud.

The people who are truly passionate about the art of playing games are also playing card collectors because it’s nice to have around the house some of the craziest, most original and funny playing card ever seen. We have managed to gather some of the coolest playing cards ever so if you are a collector, this article may just be of interest to you. The Hello Kitty Golden playing cards cost about $4930 because every card in the deck contains 0.73 g of pure gold. The cards are beautiful, even if we didn’t expect to see a golden Hello Kitty on a set of playing cards. The cards are plastic laminated and they are made by Mitsubishi Material, in Japan.

Some of the coolest playing cards ever are made are the Stainless Steel Playing Cards. This deck costs $313 and it could be a bit dangerous if you had a bad tempered friend that starts throwing cards around whenever he loses. I’m really curious about the weight of this desk as the cards are literally etched into metal. They have this serious and mysterious dark gray aspect with a finish that reminds us of certain laptop models.

The Jail Inmates playing cards are cool… and somewhat strange. Who would want to read about people that have been murdered in unsolved cases? Every card shows the story, plus the name and picture of people murdered in cases which are 13 decades old. This whole Inmate playing cards concept was invented by the Sheriff of Aladema County which though of this as a way to gather some hints about these cases which have not been solved.

If you are tired of the same old rectangular aspect of playing cards, someone has already thought about this problem. This is why you can now buy round cards, which are really funny and a bit difficult to hold in your hands. They look just like biscuits and those colored dots on the back are really cute.

The last item for the day is the Pin-up playing cards deck. You know, pin-up girls are those models that have tons of pictures seen as pop culture. These girls had photos which appeared in calendars, posters, magazines, paintings and now they are even on playing cards decks. The girls are glamorous and beautiful and this reminds us of one of Dante’s deadly sins (was that lust?). Playing cards are sure when of my favorite items to collect but I never imagined I could have to pay almost $5000 for a Hello Kitty deck. Well, just like people pay a lot of money for coins and stamps and other collectible stuff, why shouldn’t we start collecting such beautiful card decks which also bring us a lot of fun.

Cool Tatoos

Tattoos are a different form of body painting with the main characteristic of being permanents. While body painting is nothing more than paint applied on your body with a brush, getting a tattoo can be a bit more painful because of the needles which are used to insert ink into your skin layers. Tattoos go a long way back as they were means to express the belonging to different cultures. Tattoo ink is obtained directly from the nature but as beautiful and stylish and meaningful as they can be, tattoos are also very dangerous so you just don’t go around sticking a needle with ink into your skin. If you want to get a tattoo, you have to go a specialized saloon. Tattoo artist are required to take special hygiene measures.

We have seen a huge number of cool tattoos but I always believed that the coolest are actually the ones that have significance for the person which is getting tattooed. Aside from showing you some cool tattoos, we are going to tell you a thing or two about the tattooing process.

Generally, studios are very different from one another. In some cases, the chair where you sit on and get the tattoo can all be in the same room or they can be in separated rooms. Depending on the body part where you’re getting a tattoo, you can request a private room.

The first thing that tattoo artists do is they clean and disinfect the body part where the new tattoo is going to be. Normally they use rubbing alcohol in the process. If there is any hair, it will be removed with a razor which is thrown away so there is always a new one for every client.

Studios which have modern equipment are going to use a special machine that transfers the stencil for your tattoo onto a special piece of thermal paper which is the applied on your skin and it “draws the lines” for the tattoo which you are about to get.

Right about now the artist will prepare all the necessary equipment. There are special containers for every ink color used and there is also one cup with distilled water which helps clean the needles.

Now, it’s time to begin the actual tattooing process. There were a number of cases where people fainted when getting a tattoo not because of the pain but because they were really scared. I know it sounds really difficult but it is very important that you relax your muscles. The first minute will seem like an hour but the body get’s used to the needle and the pain will not be so intense anymore.

First, the artist is going to draw the lines and then fill them with color. Artists generally loves this part because they can be more creative and suggest different colors and shades for people which do not have a clear image of what the tattoo will look like in the ending.

When the tattoo is finished, most saloons like to take pictures and add them to the portfolio.

Cool Powerpoint Backgrounds

On 14 August 1984 the first version of Power Point was developed. It was called, Presenter and it was created for Macintosh computer. Due to the problems with trademark it was renamed PowerPoint in 1987. The clipboard that can hold multiple objects at once was introduced by PowerPoint 2000. ,Slides or individual pages are called the PowerPoint presentations. Slides may contain objects, movies, text and graphics. The use of consistent style in presentation is facilitated by a template also called ,,Slide Master. The presentation can be navigated through, printed or displayed live on a computer.

3 types of movements are provided by PowerPoint:

-Custom Animation controls the exit of elements, emphasis and entrance

- transition is animated in a variety of ways. These are the movements between slides.

- in order to create small story board, custom animation can be used by animating pictures to move, exit or enter

A computer desktop background is an image used as a background on a PC display / PC screen. Background is a fine decoration for a PC.

cool-powerpoint-backgrounds

Desktop "Background", is the term used in Windows 7, while in Microsoft Windows is called "Wallpaper" and Mac OS X calls it a "desktop picture" (previously, the term desktop pattern was used to refer to a small pattern that was repeated to fill the screen)

Nowadays, it is possible to download many free desktop background and use it on any personal computer with any operation system (MS Windows, Linux or Apple MacOS).

Whether it's a texture pattern or an abstract  art, getting the correct theme makes more interesting the entire work. There are various cool powerpoint backgrounds on different themes such as: planes, animals, buildings, cars, computers, celebrities , games, holidays, nature, sports, world and many others.

The cool powerpoint backgrounds have played a great role, maybe some might not have noticed this. For instance, some product graphic advertisements uses light subtle background to help create focus point also websites and desktops need nice backdrops too.

Images used as computer backgrounds are usually raster graphics with the same size as the display resolution (1024×768 pixels, or 1280×1024 pixels) in order to fill the whole background.

The classic screen resolutions are proportional in a 4:3 ratio, so an image scaled to fit in a different-sized screen will still be the correct shape, although that scaling may impact quality.

The backgrounds resolutions are connected to common desktop resolutions: 1600x1200, 1280x1024, 1024x768 and 800x600.

Users with widescreen (16:9 or 16:10) monitors have different aspect ratio requirements for backgrounds, although images designed for standard (4:3) monitors can often be cropped or scaled to the correct shape without undue loss of quality.

If any background doesn't fit your screen, you can use OS display properties to adjust it. The last possibility is to edit the background in a bitmap editor (MS Paint, Adobe Photoshop, GIMP etc.).

Desktop backgrounds are not a desktop pattern or at least it should not be. Desktop patterns create backgrounds using repeating patters. Desktop backgrounds are unique, there are no repeating patterns.

The principal problem when enlarging an background image to match the desktop resolution is the quality loss that appears during the resize process and the distorted image that appear when aspect ratio of the background is different than the aspect ratio of the desktop. If the image is used in smaller proportion, by default, will begin to repeat if it is too small.

When tiled most images look horrible and this should be avoided. By using any photo editing, an image can be resistant. You can notice the loss in quality when you stretch a picture and you may decide not to use that picture at all. However, there are applications that can automatically establish if an image is better to be displayed tiled, resized or using its original resolution.

The most common type image are in PNG and JPEG format. All major operation systems should be able to specifying just one colour to use in place of a wallpaper as the background , and some (such as GNOME orKDE) allow to be specified the colour-gradients. Early versions of Mac OS and Microsoft Windows allowed for small repeating patterns to tile the desktop.

If we make an incursion into computer backgrounds, we can say that this begins in Renaissance and to be more specific the first computer desktop background was appears in the mid 70's in an experimental office system, Officetalk, developed in 1975 at Xerox PARC on the Alto.

Previously to that, the white backgrounds to overlapping windows could be difficult to distinguish from window interiors. Officetalk used a pattern that produced a 25% gray, using dots two pixels high to avoid flicker on the Alto's interlaced screen. Xerox Star adopted the same pattern.

Apple used for their Lisa and Macintosh a similar gray background. On the other hand, it was possible to use a less noticeable background pattern since these machines had non-interlaced screens, gave a 50 percent gray from a simple 2x2 repeating pattern . Once the color monitors for personal computers were introduced, this led arbitrary backgrounds non-patterned, single-color backgrounds .. There was a way to obtain a desktop picture on versions of the Mac OS before Mac OS 7. Today, the possibility to change your desktop background is a must in any operation system.

In personal use backgrounds usually fall into one of the following categories: automobiles, models and celebrities, scenery, abstract art, movies, pets, family, symmetry, and personal photos.Comics and drawings backgrounds are considered cool backgrounds among teenagers.

In business use, it is common to use corporate logos or plain backgrounds on business computers, as such guidelines are often specified by the company.

In display systems such as GNOME and Windows, backgrounds may be packaged along with desktop themes.

Some operating systems allow a number of different backgrounds to be used and changed from a set of selected images (either in order or shuffled) to display a different background at different times, these are called dynamic backgrounds.

In video Media, some media players can redirect video playback to the desktop, allowing any video to be used as a background.

Also, some programs such as Xplanet and EarthDesk use Internet connections and graphics calculations to change the background with real data, such as a shadowed view of the earth, the latest cloud or weather map, or various events.

Since desktop backgrounds are constantly changed, it doesn't only help inspire ourselves but also spice up the desktop, giving it a fresher look. That is why your background display should not station on desktop for more than one month. Since the beginning of the computers, to customize your desktop is the frequent area of activities. The choice of a desktop usually reflects appearance and mood. Lots of wallpaper sites are now available and they will suit even the most exigent client.

People use cool powerpoint backgrounds to make their boring screen look more interesting.

Cool Drawings

cool-drawings-s
Since prehistoric times, people have made cave and rock drawings. Then , in order to make drawings, artists were using silver. From the 14th century, paper became generally available. Artists that have great drawings were known from 14th century. Some important names from 16th, 15th and 14th century are: Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci. In the 17th century Paul Rubens, Guercino, Rembrandt, Nicolas Poussin and Claude had important drawings. Antoine Watteau, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, Francisco Goya and Jean-Honore Fragonard were known for 18th century. Vincent van Gough , Honore Daumier, Odilon Redon, Jean Ingres, Edgar Degas, and pPaul Cezanne were the 19th century masters. In the 1900s great drawing were done by: Pablo Picaso, Jules Pscin, Max Beckman and Jean Dubuffet.

The means by which colour, pigment and ink are deliver onto the drawing surface is called medium. Most drawing media are either water based ( ink, pen, and marker) or dry ( silverpoint, Conte, pastels, charcoal and graphite). Like the ordinary pencil, watercolour pencil can be used dry. Invisible ink was also used, but very rarely as well as tin point, bronze, copper, platinum and gold

cool-drawings

Media can be applied using fingers and hands. In order to determine texture and value, the different drawing implements can be tried on practice sheets and in order to produce various effects you apply the implement. To control the appearance of the image, the stroke of the drawing implement can be used. Hatching is used for ink drawings. Two or more different directions are used to create a darker tone. To form lighter tones , lines with intermittent breaks or broken hatching is used. While the graduation of tone can be achieved by controlling the density of the breaks. Shade, texture and tone are produced using dots, this procedure is called stippling.

Similar techniques use sketch drawings and variations in tone can be achieved  with drawing sticks and pencils. Producing a depth effect, the lines are drawn to follow the surface’s contour curves. When we draw hair we should draw the line of sketch following the direction where the hair grows. Applying spray on the surface, we can preserve a section of the image. This will prevent the material to smear and will hold loose material more firmly.

Paper comes in a variety of different qualities and sizes. Papers can vary in strength, acidity, hue and texture when is wet. A ,,toothy’’ paper will hold the drawing material better while a smooth paper is good for rendering fine detail. In order to produce deeper contrast, a coarser material is useful. For rough sketches and practice, typing paper and newsprint may be useful. In order to transfer a design from on sheet to another, tracing paper is used. The basic type of drawing paper sold in pads is cartridge paper. Extremely suitable and smooth for very fine detail is vellum. Due to its texture, cold pressed water colour paper may be favoured for ink drawing.

In order to represent the shade of the material, shading is used. Shading is the technique that makes the tonal value vary. A realistic rendition of the image can be created with careful attention by reflecting highlights, shadows and light.

cool-drawings-3

Cool drawings can be created using blending with charcoal, chalk, graphite or even ink. For blending and shading, we can use kneaded eraser, blending stump, fingertip or tissue. To create smooth textures , a piece of chamois is used. Hatching and stippling are also shading techniques that introduce texture to the drawing.

In producing a realistic rendition of the subject an important step is measuring the dimensions of the subject while blocking in the drawing. In order to measure the angles of different sides, compass can be used and as a device to compute proportions, a ruler can be used. A human figure is a complicated drawing and in order to shape it   is best to use at first primitive shapes. Cone, cylinder, sphere and cube can represent almost any form. The fundamental skill for representational art is drawing the underlying construction. This procedure will make the final image look more consistent and resolve the smaller details. Of course, we have to posses a deep understanding of human proportions and anatomy. A trained artist is familiar with how different parts work together during movement : tendon movement, muscle placement, joint location, skeleton structure. Particularly when drawing a portrait we have to be familiar with how the proportions vary due to the age of the person.

cool-drawings-4

An important  element in creating  cool drawings is the composition of the image. In order to communicate feelings and ideas, the artist plans the placement of elements in the art resulting  a harmonious whole that is stimulating  and aesthetically appealing. A key element in creating an artistic piece is illumination. A more youthful appearance is given by a multiple light sources. While a single light contrast highlights any interesting feature or texture.

Improve your skills and learn how to draw. Whether you are a hobbyist artist, art student or art teacher you can bring to reality the images in your mind. Through cool drawings you can communicate your artistic ideas. It is a great feeling to see your final results. With a little practice you will amaze yourself.
