Book Lights

Book Lights

LightWedge book lights use a patented technology based on LED light and tampered lens which direct all the light on the page. There are several models available such as the LightWedge Mini, the Paperback, the Harry Potter model and the Night Vision book light. You can also choose between 10 cool colors for your book light, from blue and green to pink and black, while they are available at prices around $30, depending on the selected model.

Book Lights

The basic book light is the LightWedge Original Book Light, a great alternative for the already classic book lamps with clips that attach to the book. This model fits hardcover books and large paperbacks and can be used anywhere in any position.
It has acrylic lens that lay on the page you are reading and doesn’t spread its light over it or in your eyes. It measures 6.74 x 9.25 inches weighting 8.5 oz without the replaceable 4 AAA batteries which provide up to 40 hours of light.

If you have vision problems or have to read a text written with small letters, you could try the LightWedge Magnifier that magnifies the characters up to 1.25X.
To use it in low light conditions you need to clip it onto the LightWedge Paperback book light.

Book Lights

The LightWedge Night Vision is based on the Original model but features a red glow, being destined to sailors, astronomers and pilots to assist them with charts, maps and books references.

If you want something smaller to illuminate only parts of the text you can check the LightWedge Mini Reading Light, a pocket-sized travel accessory available in Black, Blue, Green, Silver, Pink and White, which helps while reading menus, programs or other short texts, magnifying 1.5X. This one measures 5 x 2.25 inches and provides up to 20 hours of light with 2 CR2016 batteries.

I have been using book lights for years and they have been cumbersome and awkward... but these ones look as if there has been a considerble amount of time and effort put in to their design... cool book lights!

I have also found LightWedge to have some great products. Their other line Great Point Light has some cool lights as well. Check out their website at
