Best alarm clock should promote conversation

Maybe those who are interested in having a cool alarm clock wouldn’t consider the iTalk for waking them up in the morning, but I, for one, am really excited about this new device. Designed by Neutrano, the iTalk is undoubtedly a very interesting alarm clock, if not the most interesting of them all, at least of those which are available right now in the market.

And if you think that I’m somehow exaggerating, you should know that as far as I’m concerned anything that promotes conversation, and further communication between people, is able to win me over without effort. The iTalk does precisely that: it gives the user the chance to set the time or the alarm using the power of his/her own voice. This means you can immediately say goodbye to those annoying buttons that you don’t want to hit, but you have to, in order to make the device work.
Equipped with a 2 inch LED digit, the iTalk is based on the latest TimeSet Voice technology. It seems that it is able to understand any voice that speaks in English. The only thing you should do is to say to the alarm clock “Hello iTalk!”, in order to wake it up, even if you might be considered a crazy person if someone gets to see you. Then, you can choose from eight different phrases such as “set alarm”, “snooze” or “What day is it?”.

Running on 3 AAA batteries, the iTalk can easily turn into the best alarm clock ever, because it lets you speak. It allows you to practice communication. It’s just that you will have to be patient until it becomes available, sometimes in June, on Amazon, for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
