Beat Simon if you want the loud alarm clock to shut up

I don’t know why, but I’m tempted to write more and more about weird alarm clocks. Actually, I think I know the reason for something like this to happen. If when I was a little girl I could easily wake up in the mornings, I have to admit that things changed a little bit in the last couple of years. Maybe due to those sleepless nights that I had back in college, maybe because I love the nocturnal silence, I don’t know, but the most difficult task for me to accomplish is to open my eyes when the sun makes its appearance on the sky.

It’s the Simon Alarm Clock turn today or, in other words, I’ll be talking about an alarm clock that is based on Simon.

Simon, who in earth is Simon? Well, if you don’t know who he is, then let me tell you that “Simon is an electronic game of rhythm and memory skill invented by Ralph H. Baer and Howard J. Morisson, with the software programming being done by Lenny Cope and manufactured and distributed by Milton Bradley. Simon was launched in 1978 at Studio 54 in New York City and became an immediate success. It became a pop culture symbol of the 1980s” ( Wikipedia).

So, isn’t it a great way for you to start your day, with an alarm clock that won’t shut up if you don’t play a version of the game? The only thing you should do is to remember the sequence of lights and then press the buttons in the same order as they first appeared.

The point is that the loud alarm clock will wake you up (and you should not worry about that), while the game will take care of helping you stay up. As far as the availability is concerned, there is no information yet.
