Apple Upgrades MacBook Pros
Posted by: Adina in News

MacBook Pro have now slightly faster processors, more memory, and better graphics capabilities across the board. The actual feature set of the MacBook Pro has not changed, and it still includes the 15 and 17-inch models with built in iSight, MagSafe Power Adapter, and 802.11 capabilities.
However, all models now come standard with 2GB of RAM, and include the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT as well. Consumers can select up to 4GB as a build-to-order option.

The 17-inch models now have the option to be upgradeable to a higher resolution display capable of 1920x1000 resolution. 15-inch models come with a new LED-backlight display, which is now mercury free.
Consumers also receive more hard drive space as part of the refresh, with 120GB in the low-end model and 160GB for all others. Build-to-order options make it possible to upgrade to a 250GB hard drive.
