Apple Spying iPhone Owners?!
Posted by: Sierra Monica B. in mobile phones

I wrote earlier about Vodafone being disturbed by the fact that T-Mobile got the exclusivity over the iPhone sales in Germany, and so it managed to obtain a restraining order to block T-Mobile from selling the mobile device.

Besides that, new rumors say that iPhone is transmitting personal information of the owners to Apple’s servers.
But the interesting part is that this information would be sent crypted, through the “Weather†and “Stock†services, and contains data related to IMEI, IPs, and the owner’s customs.
In addition, this process would monitor details like the number of decoded iPhones and how they are distributed geographically.
These rumors are not confirmed to be real but who knows? It could explain how Apple came up with statistics on the unlocked phones.
