Al Qaeda Plans to Start the Perfect Electronic Jihad

The Israeli website DEBKAfile reported on Tuesday that it knows from some special sources about an intention of Al Qaeda computer experts that got bored and planned to start an electronic Jihad right on November 11.Their target is the Western websites and 15 anti-Muslim websites such as Jewish, Israeli and Shiite websites.
But they won’t stop here.
They will expand this attack including hundreds of thousands of hackers that will attack lots of sites.
This sounds a bit surrealistic, don’t you think?
While some network security experts among normal people think it is possible, other don’t believe that such a thing could happen because terrorist groups like Al Qaeda don’t have enough knowledge about hacking and as we all have seen, they prefer killing people in real life which is more harmful in the long run.

This is what Paul Henry, vice president for technology evangelism for Secure Computing in San Jose, California, said:
Electronic Jihad 2.0 software makes it very easy to coordinate a denial of service attack and "You simply select the level of bandwidth you wish to use and hit 'attack,' and the attack is launched," he told TechNewsWorld.
"It's really down to script kiddie level."
What version 2 brings new is the improvement of the targeting technique, which now it works automatically, enabling terrorists to coordinate assaults better.
More than that, the software was spread widely in the last year.
Sophos considers that we are losing the time if we think to much in this:
"I think it's healthy to be skeptical about these sorts of things."
"Have we ever known al Qaeda to announce in advance when they're planning to attack?"
"Surely, the one thing which terrorists have reveled in in the past, is the element of surprise. That's one of the strongest things in their armory."
"The people who are tracking terrorists and hacker groups and things put too much weight on babble on the Internet," he continued.
"Everyone needs to take sensible precautions, but this isn't something which I think many people should lose too much sleep over at the moment."
