The Zen mp3 player is one of the best mp3 players that you can find on the market. The included display of this player is simply beautiful as the colors are sharp and vibrant and photo viewing is a pleasure. It almost looks like you are watching photos on a cell phone. Inside the box you will also get a pair of EP-830 earphones which sound great and they make a good team together with the Zen mp3 player. Battery life is very important when you buy a mp3 player because you may want to listen to music on a long flight so it must provide you with long hours of audio playback. 11 hours of audio playback is what this player has scored during tests. The figures are ok but they are very low compared to the 36 hours that the Creative Company initially promised. Video playback can last a maximum 5 hours and a half.

The Wall Mountable Charging Station, as you can probably tell by the name, can be mounted on your wall and it offers the advantage of hiding all those ugly and tangled up cables. If you slide the front open, the charging spot will all be revealed and you can plug in and charge different devices. The surge protector has to be purchased separately from the actual charging station. You can buy this gizmo in either black or white, whichever suit the color on your walls best. $30 is the price of the charging station and for the surge protector (which included 6 outlets) you have to pay another $13. I would say it’s a small price if you care about having a neat and tidy living room.



Speaking of cool electronic gadgets, don’t you think that it’s time to speak about something really fun? I cannot write about the last items without laughing. Even if April Fool’s day has passed. It is never too late to pull a prank on a good friend or a family member. The TV Poltergeist Phantom Prank Remote control is a device which is simply crazy. This little gizmo costs only $13, but I am sure that is going to provide you with some serious laughter. The device is programmed in such a way that it can turn on an off a TV at regular time intervals. It comes with 3 AA batteries but the disadvantage is that it has to be placed in such a manner so that it points directly at the TV. Think about all the fun you are going to have when mom can’t watch her favorite soap opera.

The 3^rd generation iPod Touch can be found with 2 different storage capacity options. First, there is the 8 GB player that comes at a price of $199, then there is the 32 GB version that comes at a price of $299 and the 64 GB mp3 player costs $399. This is one of the most expensive mp3 players currently available on the market but I can assure you that you are playing for a high quality device.

When it comes to the design, I find this mp3 player to be very similar to the iPhone both in terms of shape and the fact that there is a huge touch screen covering almost the entire surface of the player. As for the dimensions, this unit measures 4.3 x 2.4 x 0.33 inches so it is quite slim and could fit into almost any pocket. The 3.5 inch display comes with a native resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. On the left side of the player you can find a volume controller while on the top there is a hold switch plus hold button on front of the player. The first model chosen for this review is the Motorola BackFlip. This smartphone is clear evidence that proves that Motorola knows what customers expect from a cell phone. Verizon Wireless brings us the Samsung Reality Stateside, a beautiful new cell phone that comes with only the best features that a phone can have at the time. Aside from the fact  that you are going to fall in love with the 3 inch touch sensitive display that has a 240 x 400 pixel resolution, sliding the screen will reveal an even more amazing QWERTY keyboard with soft keys that make texting a real pleasure. This cell phone offers a lot of possibilities. First of all, you have a very wide range of messaging options that include SMS, MMS, Mobile Chat plus e-mail and many more. The 3.2 megapixel camera is going to make sure that you can immortalize some nice moments and you can even edit your photos. Using the microSD card slot you can extend the memory of the phone to a maximum 16 GB but the memory card is not included so you have to purchase it separately.

The second gadget that I wanted to talk to you about is something which I personally find revolutionary and I would love to actually see one of these and test it. The E-ink concept is something that could change the regular newspaper as we know it. E-ink can create some sort of display on a semi-transparent surface that looks like a newspaper. Using an integrated fingerprint identifies, it can see who the user is and then it’s all pretty much like surfing the internet. Maybe the newspaper wasn’t just a bad idea as people could just fold it and take it to work to catch up on some reading on the bus ride. Even more, how is the newspaper boy going to throw it on your porch? There are still a lot of questions that surround this concept but you have to admit that it is something that could kill newspaper. I think I like the fact that there will be less tree cutting though…
