Best Electronic Gifts

I think that choosing the best electronic gifts is something that actually depends on the personality of the person that you are going to give the gift to. But we are going to show you some unusual items that may just be your next best electronic gifts choice.

For example, if you have a friend which has trouble sleeping, there is no better remedy than the Dreamate Sleep Inducer. The price of this gift is $79.99 so it’s not like you are going to make a hole in your budget by gifting this to anyone. This gizmo uses special acupressure techniques that are going to massage gently the “sleeping golden triangle” of your left wrist. You have to use the Dreamate Sleep Inducer 30 minutes before bedtime and this will help reset your biological clock and help your body relax so you can get a good night sleep. You will start to see the first results after one week of using it and the best results are visible in about 8 weeks. The Dreamate Sleep Inducer is successful because it knows exactly which point to press and which ones to massage to lower the stress level and induce that gentle, relaxing sensation that you get when you are about to fall asleep.

The next item is more of a gift that you give to a person who you know is crazy about saving money and is planning to start with monitoring the quantity of water used. This gadget is priced at $24.95 and it is called the Save A Drop Hose Nozzle. I think that we all waste a lot of water when watering the plants in our garden because on warm sunny days I tend to leave the water running to make those poor plants happy. And I can never really tell how much water I am using. That can all change if you also use the Save A Drop Hose Nozzle which is going to tell you exactly how much water you are using. The nozzle works just like a regular one as it has a 5 inch nonslip grip plus multiple spray patterns. Another super feature of this nozzle is that no matter what is your water pressure, the water flow will be consistent and steady.

The last item of this best electronics gifts list is something you could give out to a person who loves gadgets that are used for interior decorations. The Snakkes Chat Bubble Wall Lamp is just a bit more than you usual looking wall lamp. It is shaped like a speech bubble and you can write different messages on it and then later wipe them out. Too bad that it costs $300 which is quite a spicy price for a wall lamp. You can use a simple whiteboard marker as the lamp is really easy to clean. The frame is made of steel and I am telling you this just to give you a hint that you are dealing with high quality material.

New High Tech Gadgets

It’s time for the new high tech gadgets that have recently shown themselves to us users. If you were looking to buy a video projector but were not sure what to choose, we are happy to let you know that Sanyo has announced its new XGA video projectors. In fact, we are talking about 4 new projectors. The first is the PLC-WM5500 that has a LNS-S20 with a standard zoom lens. The second is the PLC-WM5500L that has a brightness of 5,500 ANSI lumens. The third new video projector is the PLC-WM 4500 that has a LNS-S20 zoom lens and the PLC-WM4500L that has a brightness of 4,500 ANSI lumens. The prices of these video projectors are a bit too much for the average person to afford. The PLC-WM5500 costs $5645, the PLC-WM4500L costs $4,095, the PLC-WM4500 is priced at $4,545 while the PLC-WM5500L costs $4,995.

These projectors operate very differently from whatever you may have seen so far because they can display two different video sources at the same time. The Picture by Picture mode is going to display 2 images in fixed positions. These 2 images are going to be equal in size. You can also use the Picture in Picture mode which is going to show a smaller picture inside a full-frame image. In fact, I think it is safe to say that this projector can actually do the job of two projectors.

The second choice for out new high tech gadgets report is the Maxatec Xplore DT-351 Compact PDA. This is not just any regular PDA if we consider the fact that it comes with a Barcode Scanner. Even if smart phones have pretty much taken over the business and the PDA market is slowly fading away, I think that this PDA is still going to have a couple of buyers. It comes with a 802.11 b/g built in wireless and the Windows CE 5.0 operating system – professional edition.  The integrated CCD barcode scanner is one of the best features but there are still some other cool things that you get when buying the Maxatec Xplore DT-351 Compact PDA. The roaming trigger is configurable so you can adjust the roaming response on different networks. The handwriting recognition utility can recognize both English and Chinese. The enhanced power management can deliver a very long operating period.

The last item I wanted to present is the new HTC Sence DROID which has just been announced by Verizon Wireless. I know that you think that there are too many smart phones on the market so this one will probably not make the difference. If you are however interested in getting your hand on this cool new cell phone, you should know that it comes with a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which is going to make this cell phone run its application really fast. The 3.7 inch display is a beauty as it features touch screen capacities and a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It comes with a lot of other cool features like integrated GPS and an 8 megapixel camera which is bound to take amazing pictures.

40GB Apple iPod Mp3 Player

The 40 GB Apple iPod mp3 player is also known as the Apple iPod Photo 40 GB mp3 player and it is available with a starting price of $299. With a 16 bit screen, this player is bound to provide a different photo viewing experience that most other mp3 players would.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->

With 4.1 x 2.4 x 0.75 inches in dimensions and 6.4 ounces in weight, the 40 GB Apple iPod mp3 player is just bit thicker that its smaller brother, the 20 GB iPod. The 40 GB Apple iPod mp3 player comes with a 2 inch display that comes with 65,536 colors and a resolution of 220 x 176 pixels. The best part of the screen is that it is visible even under direct sunlight. Even if the display is quite small, it manages to display photos at a great quality and it is certainly above most of the other players that have the photo viewing feature included. It comes with even more cool features if we consider that it also comes with calendar and even the ability to support different games. The headphones port can also be used as a video-out port. Inside the box of the 40 GB Apple iPod mp3 player you will find a lot of goodies. Along with the player, you will find a carrying pouch, a dock, earbuds, one USB cable, a carrying case, an audio and video cable, the iTunes software and a FireWire cable.

The photo files formats supported by the 40 GB Apple iPod mp3 player are JPEG, PNG, BMP and GIF.  In the default state, this player shows a main menu list composed of Photos, Music, Settings, Extras, Shuffle Songs and Backlight. For $29 you can buy the iPod Camera Connector which is a firmware update and you can now download photos from your digital camera directly to the 40 GB Apple iPod mp3 player. The audio files formats supported are MP3, AAC, WAV, AIFF, Audible Files and Apple Lossless. You can watch photos while you are listening to music and even watch slideshows. Due to the fact that the player runs using 2 x 80 MHz processor, there will not be any lag while browsing though photos. Don’t you just love these devices that have absolutely 0 lag?

And now we have to move down to one of the most important features of any portable mp3 player, especially the 40 GB Apple iPod mp3 player. During different tests, this player manages to stay on for 15 hours of continuous audio playback. As for playing slideshows, the player manages to stay on for 5 hours. It really depends on the combination of processes that you run on the player because this is a device that can support audio and video playback plus the photo viewing feature. For instance, the device can stay on for about 8 hours if you play audio files with the backlight turned off and while the player was in the slideshow mode with the backlight turned on.

Car Mp3 Player

The Pioneer DEH-P6000UB is a great car mp3 player that can be purchased for the price of $230. In fact, I think that Pioneer has always been a very important and trustworthy brand when it comes to developing audio systems. Not only does this car mp3 player come with a lot of interesting features, but it also look very nice with its combination of black, silver and blue LED back lighting. On the front side, you will notice a big 7 way jog wheel with multiple functions. Aside from this wheel, there are 6 buttons which are used to select the audio source, the playback mode, the radio band and you can also program the display and the subwoofer. On the right side of the faceplate you will notice 2 other buttons which are used for click, list and eject functions. This car mp3 player has an USB port which can be used to connect USB audio players, mass storage devices and even iPods. The Pioneer DEH-P6000UB car mp3 player has a menu interface which makes it really easy to navigate though the iPod content. Aside from being able to support iPod content, this player can also handle different audio file formats like MP3, WAV, AAC and WMA.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->

The display of the Pioneer DEH-P6000UB car mp3 player can show various information like the playtime, the name of the artist and the song that is playing, the album name and the track title and different other such combination. The interface is very user friendly so it takes a very short period of time for you to get used to all the functions of this mp3 player. The list button will reveal the menu of folders and then you can easily scroll though them. In time, you will discover that using the Pioneer DEH-P6000UB car mp3 player is easy and fun. The Advanced Sound Retriever technology can enhance compressed audio files which basically means that it can restore sound lost during the compression processor. This Advanced Sound Retriever technology works with the MP3-, AAC- and WMA- encoded discs.

The seven band equalizer is another fine feature of this Pioneer DEH-P6000UB car mp3 player. You have to admit that for a price which is lower than $250, you get quite a lot of cool features in a device that is going to make long distance traveling a lot more pleasant.

Parallel with the ASR settings, the DEH-P6000UB has a seven-band equalizer, which can be used to tweak audio of all formats. The system comes with seven presets including two custom EQ curves and an "S.Bass" setting, which enhances low-end output. Other useful audio-tweaking features include source-level adjustment, which lets drivers assign volume levels to individual sources; separate controls for turning on and selecting the level of the subwoofer; and a high-pass filter for diverting all low-end sound below a certain frequency to the subwoofer. No matter how you have your EQ set up, the DEH-P6000UB provides a robust sound thanks to its built-in MOSFET amplifier (14 watts RMS/50 peak x 4 channels), and those who want to upgrade this can take advantage of three sets of 4-volt preamp outputs . The system can also be turned into a satellite radio receiver or a Bluetooth hands-free calling interface with the addition of external modules.

In sum
For a price of about $250, the DEH-P6000UB is a good-value single-DIN stereo. We like its snazzy design, its as-standard iPod control including its advanced features for navigating iPod libraries, as well as its many audio tweaking and customization features.

Cool Hi Tech Gadgets

When it comes to Cool Hi-Tech gadgets, I think that nothing can actually beat those cute little robots that help around by doing lots of cool stuff. I mean, what could be more hi-tech than a machine that imitates an actual human being? Let me give you a more accurate example. The PR2 is one of those Cool Hi-Tech gadgets that I was talking to you about because it is a machine that can fold towels. Of course, this little fellow still needs some improvements but it’s actually quite funny looking and useful.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->

The PR2 is not available for purchase but I think it’s going to have a lot more success in the hotel business rather than people buying it for their home use. I think it’s going to be a little too expensive. Even if it has managed to score 100% in all tests and trials, it still needs some work because the speed is simply terrible.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0Z1EaFFICI&feature=player_embedded is one link to a very interesting video. If we first checked out the robot that can fold towels but it still under testing and improvement phase, how about a robot that is actually out there, in a restaurant in Thailand and it serves the customers just like a regular human writer? With big and round eyes, this robot actually looks kind of cute. It sure seems friendly. I have always seen robots as mean killing machines, but yet again, I watch too many movies. We are not sure in what conditions this robot is designed but since we haven’t heard about anyone else using it, it must have been especially ordered by the owner who, by the way, spent $930.000 to get this restaurant up and running. I also wonder if he also takes your order or does he just deliver it to your table. And how does he know which table to deliver the meal to?

The next and last of our Cool Hi-Tech gadgets is another robot. But this one is a bit different as it does not resemble any human being and it is something that can actually save a lot of lives. The Hoya robot is a very small little gadgets that can go into burning buildings and since it has an integrated camera, it can offer images of what is going on inside. It took 2 years to develop this little robot which is under testing by 50 different fire stations in Korea. The robot is able to show imaged on a 54 yard radius and with the onboard lighting system it can also record images in the dark. It can also check a building for gas, smoke and temperature. Not only that, but it can stand to temperatures that reach even 320 degrees Fahrenheit.  Aside from all these cool features, the robot is also water resistant and it can resist to drops of even 6 feet. On a full charge, it can operate about 30 minutes.  I wonder how many lives is this robot going to save…
