I am not sure when the beach buggy that can be seen in the pictures below is going to be available to be purchased by people from all over the world, but one thing is for sure: it looks as futuristic as those small flying cars from science fiction movies look like and I would like to see the person who’d dare to disagree.

The concept was created by Spanish designer Miguel-Angel Iranzo Sanchez, who has a degree in Graphic Design (EASD Valencia). For the moment, the designer is attending the courses of a Master in Transportation Design at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. This means he has every reason to consider himself a specialist in this domain and to try to envisage the vehicles of the future.

After creating the Seat Brisa, he came up with another concept, called Seat Duna, an electric beach buggy that is aimed at being old-fashioned and eco-friendly in the same time. The vehicle is based on the Volkswagen Up! platform and it’s powered by electric motors. To be more precise, the Duna juices up from the sun and the power goes straight to the nano photovoltaic cells that are placed in the translucent elastomere shell.



“With its lightweight mesh seats, laminated cedar rocker panels inspired by vintage surfboards, and bright colors, the Seat Duna is a quite extrovert car”.

So, if you wonder whether this buggy beach will ever be “for sale”, I think that the best thing we could do right now is to just sit back and wait. Wait for a miracle to happen.

There is a stylus included that allows the user to control the touch screen, and also the digital pen text input. It is based on an Intel Atom processor, being durable and resistant to drops and spills due to the sturdy plastic case.

As for the features, these laptops for kids come with the Microsoft Windows XP Home, MicroSoft Works 9.0, two different modes of use (the tablet and the traditional laptop modes), the screen is able to swivel 180 degrees, an integrated camera which also rotates 180 degrees, a removable carrying handle, touch optimized software.

The technical information, on the other hand, consists of the Intel Atom processor N270 1GHz, Intel 945GSE chipset, an accelerometer, 60GB 1.8" PATA HDD, a 2-in-1 SD/MMC memory card reader, USB 2.0 interface, a physical keyboard that is resistant to water, a touch pad and a touch screen that allows handwriting recognition and a virtual on-screen keyboard.

Measuring 9.5 x 7.5 x 1.5 inches and weighing less than 3 pounds, it has a 6-cell Lithium-ion battery that provides up to 5 hours of typical usage time. The device can be purchased for $599.99.

Then, the information is being sent to the cell phone of a dieter, using a Bluetooth wireless connection. And you will have a feedback, of this you can be sure. And it will be something like “you missed your goal for today, but you can make it up tomorrow by taking a 15-minute walk or having a salad for dinner”.

Unfortunately, we don’t know for the moment how much this smart patch will cost and how precisely it works.

It seems that experts consider the fractional membership to be a pretty good solution in these difficult times we are all facing right now, because, believe it or not, everyone is affected by the economic crisis, from poor people to rich ones, who have a difficult time trying to realize how in earth they got to such a bad situation.

Maybe unbelievably rich people don’t afford to buy themselves the luxurious goods that they were accustomed to in the past, but they still have the budget to help them own a share in a $24 million luxury yacht, for example. Famous British architect Norman Foster has just launched his first superyacht, which is known under the name of Ocean Emerald, designed for YachtPlus. And guess what? If an amount of $2,485,000 won’t make a hole in your budget, then this kind of money will give you the chance to enjoy 30 nights a year on the board of this yacht.

The yacht measures 41 meters and it was built at the Rodriguez Cantieri Navale yard, which is placed in Italy, according to the specifications given by Foster & Partners. The fittings were all made by Cassina, while the kitchen and galley equipment were in the care of Schiffini. There are five suites aimed at approximately 12 guests, who will be given the royal treatment by a crew consisting of seven trained employees.



Not to mention that “all arrangements from bookings to transport, private jet, helicopter transfers and onboard requests will be taken care of”.



There will four identical such yachts available in the next couple of years, and the second, Ocean Pearl, is said to enter the service sometimes in the autumn of this year. The third, Ocean Sapphire, is expected to be launched in the first months of the next year, while the fourth, which has not a name for the moment, will be available sometimes at the end of 2010.



These aren’t luxury yachts for sale, as you can easily see. To be more precise, you won’t be able to buy the whole yacht for yourself, you’ll have to share it. Because it’s all about sharing, you guys!

When I am in my tantrums (I can’t say I’m excited, ‘cause, as far as I’m concerned, the excitement is when feeling I’m happy about something in particular) it’s like the sky falls down on me and there is no one besides me to give me a helping hand. Maybe it’s the world we live today, maybe it’s my bad temper, I don’t really know, but what I do know for sure is that I would really need something to soothe my nerves every once in a while.

And an adventure aquarium would be the perfect alternative, I’d say. Ok, maybe not adventure, just a home aquarium, even if I imagine it with an entire universe inside, with lots of little fishes going from one place to another, singing and dancing, exploring the dark sides of the aquarium, getting into trouble and trying to victoriously end their trip.

A very nice thing consists of the LCD display that is able to give you the information you need when it comes to the temperature of the water and its oxygen content. But please do not raise that eyebrow like that, because knowing such information is vital if you want to have a nice little waterworld inside your home.



This home aquarium is only 6 inches deep, which means it will be quite difficult for you to clean it up whenever it gets dirty. But do you know what? For the hefty price of no more, no less than $1450, you should ask for the aquarium to clean itself. This is the least it could do, right?
