If there was something to help Dell to stand out of the crowd, then it must have been the fact that, compared to other famous manufacturer, it gave you the chance to choose the hardware you wanted to be “stuffed” inside the machine. This is, undoubtedly, a great advantage, especially because other competitors are willing to give only what they want to. Dell’s idea later extended to the color of the notebooks, so you had more choices than only black or silver.

And because people seem to be crazy about colors, Dell listened to them once again and decided to launch an entirely new line of colorful desktop computers. Now, to be more precise, the company announced the release of two Inspiron desktop computers in a wide variety of colors, the colors you can see in the picture above.

You’ll be able to choose from the following colors: Piano Black, True Blue, Spring Green, Tangerine Orange, Promise Pink, Plum Purple, Formula Red and Pure White. But the story doesn’t end here, if you thought that the color is everything this new line of Dell desktop computers is bringing in the spotlight. You can also choose from a wide variety of processors, either Intel or AMD, of up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 750 GB of storage. On the other hand, the computers can come with the option of integrated graphics or ATI discrete graphics cards. Another interesting feature is the fact that you can add a Blu-ray driver to your tower.

As for the price, you’ll be able to purchase the computer you best like for $299. It’s just that, for the moment, they are available only in China, but they’re expected to start selling worldwide sometimes in the following months.

I don’t know if you ever had the chance to experience this feeling, but let me tell how invigorating it is for me to know that technology doesn’t reduce itself to all sorts of futuristic cell phones, to modern furniture for your home, to the coolest MP3 players one can find in the market or to weird shaped USB flash drives.

When I first read about this Logitec wireless router, my first impression was that there was a misspelling error involved in the article, because the name we all know is Logitech. And an “h” was missing. But, much to my surprise, it seems that the person who wrote the article was so very right, because the product presented had the Logitec name on it, not the famous one that we are so familiar with.

The pocket wireless router comes from an Asian company and it seems to be the smallest router of its type. The smallest ever, if you know what I mean, as it measures no more than 62 x 82 x 19 millimeters and weighs approximately 55 grams. And, as you can see in the picture above, the device is perfectly fitted to the palm of your hand.

The LAN-WG/RA pocket wireless router designed by Logitec can be used as an Access Point (also known as AP), just in case you need to. On the other hand, the device is fully compatible with the basic encryption standards, such as WPA2 (AES), WPA (TKIP) and WEP128/64.

It is crying to heaven, if you ask me, because the device can easily be considered a genuine defiance to the situation out there. Called the 701 Jewelry, the computer was released in Korea with some very interesting features stuffed inside, such as a 7 inch multimedia touchscreen display, an ATI Radeon HD 4000 which is perfect for video playback, 500GB hard drive. In addition, there are a remote control, internal speakers, DVD-R, a multimedia card reader, the Intel Core 2 Duo processor and the Windows Vista operating system support. And if you wonder why the computer costs so much, then let me tell you that it is all covered with no more, no less than 3,554 Swarovski crystals, while the panels are made of gold and brass.

Being expected to sell for approximately $30,000, I’d be curious to know the solution imagined by Moneual on how to survive a recession. Because buying such an expensive computer sure isn’t one.
