Razer Mamba New Gaming Mouse with Wired Wireless Switching

Razer launched a new gaming mouse called Mamba and featuring the same design characteristics of the other black Razer Gaming Mice from the same line.

On the new gaming mouse’s official page is is explained why Razer didn’t adopt the wireless 2.4GHz technology as the primary connection option for its latest model introduced, stating that gamers are used with wired computer mice and that “wireless mice suck for gaming”. According to Razer, gamers will continue to avoid wireless mice because of the delay in responsiveness, a big disadvantage that could produce unexpected results especially during first-person-shooter gameplay.

As the wireless technology for computer mice is not enough improved over the traditional wired connectivity, a mouse model like Mamba would be the best choice of the moment for gamers and for productivity applications because it comes with a hybrid system that allows you to switch between wired and wireless capability instantly.

ioSafe Solo 1.5TB - Best External Hard Drive for Customers

ioSafe Solo is the world’s first 1.5TB external hard drive with high level of protection and ruggedness.
For a limited time it is available at a price of $299.99 with a $50 introductory reduction, but you can choose also the 1TB version at $199.99 or the 500GB capacity at a price of $149.99.

Provided at a higher price than the other external hard drives on the market featuring the same capacity, ioSafe Solo brings with a 3-year Disaster Recovery Service included, which normally is available at $1,000. The service offers third-party forensic drive data recovery in case the device is damaged and ioSafe can’t help.

It is a great backup solution for your important data and is also waterproof and fireproof. Under fresh water or salt water it can resist at 10 foot depth for 3 days, while supporting up to 1550 degrees Fahrenheit temperatures for up to 30 minutes per ASTM E119.

Like all the other external hard drives, the ioSafe Solo connects to computers via the high-speed USB 2.0 interface, but key elements include the company’s patented FloSafe cooling vent technology with automatic detection of destructive heat levels and automatic vents closing, the DataCast endothermic insulation technology that releases the cooling water vapor above temperatures of 160 degrees Fahrenheit, and the patented HydroSafe technology, which protects data loss from water damage.

"For less than 30 cents per gigabyte, no other solution I can think of offers so much disaster protection, speed and capacity for so little money," said George Crump, founder of Storage Switzerland, an analyst firm focused on the storage and virtualization markets. "ioSafe has developed a very compelling product for every person or business using external hard drives. Located in Texas, we use ioSafe solutions and certainly felt safer knowing our critical data was on ioSafe drives during the Hurricane Ike event. The majority of data stored today is at risk of loss from fires or floods. Anybody with unprotected precious digital data should buy one of these now - before the fire or flood - not after."
