New Razer Lycosa Mirror and Razer Arctosa Gaming Efficient Keyboards

New Razer Lycosa Mirror and Razer Arctosa Gaming Efficient Keyboards
Razer, one of the most popular developers of gaming accessories, released two new efficient keyboards on the market, based on the Razer Lycosa model.

Razer Lycosa Mirror Special Edition removes the non-slip rubber finish keytop and goes for the unique high-gloss mirror finish alternative. It keeps the rest of the features of the original model that you got used with, including blue LED key letters for low light conditions, WASD backlighting options, easy access to the Hyperesponse media keys, and the USB and Audio port hub.
The anti-ghosting WASD gaming cluster makes it one of the most gaming efficient keyboards, preventing signal failure in cases when you press multiple keys at the same time, problem encountered at standard models.
The special edition has the same price as the original model, which is of $79.99.

Razer Arctosa has a lower price of $49.99, which explains the fact that it doesn't come with the rubber finish, mirror finish, backlighting options, USB and Audio port hub, nor the blue LED key letters. It just keeps the black keys like traditional keyboards, and easy access to media keys.
According to the Razer team, the special edition keyboard with mirror finish is a result of gamers feedback, who wanted to replace the rubber feet with the backlight and match it with the cool mirror finish.
You'll be able to get it in December when it will be available in stores.

On the other hand, Razer Arctosa is meant to deliver the essential gaming keyboard solution with programmable keys. Still, you can choose between the model with black characters on silver background, or the black-on-black version. It will come out in November worldwide.

“The high-gloss mirror finish of the Razer Lycosa Mirror Special Edition will appeal to the stylistic crowd, while being powered by the exact technology which has catapulled the Razer Lycosa into one of Razer's core-selling products,” said Robert “Razerguy” Krakoff, president of Razer. “The Razer Arctosa's black on black version is a tribute to style personified. It's a basic gaming keyboard which also looks awesome with any gaming rig.”

On October 6, Motorola released the Rapture VU30 at Verizon Wireless. This is another cell phone with clamshell design, like the previous model described, sporting rounded edges and looking almost identical to Motorola ROKR U9 , a cell phone preferred among pink items when it comes to cool new gadgets, according to Reevoo.

Rapture VU30 has an external touchscreen, a very rare feature, which gives the user access the built-in 2MP digital camera or the music player, without opening the handset.
Verizon Wireless offers lots of useful entertainment solutions like 5 million songs for purchase and download over-the-air, and the VZ Navigator for mapping purposes.

The phone supports video recording, expandable memory up to 8GB, and has an online price of $129.99 with a 2-year agreement.

After all these new cell phones, Motorola needed to add a high-quality Bluetooth wireless headset, and this is the MOTOPURE H15, a universal model that works with any cell phone having this technology enabled.
It is an improvement of the previous model already available on the market, the MOTOPURE H12, delivering a practical flip design for comfort and the best background noise cancellation technology, CrystalTalk.

A cool new gadget for your family during a hollyday is the pair of 2-way radios called the Talkabout EM1000R. Motorola thinks of it as a great emergency communication tool that works like a walkie-talkie, allowing 2 people get in contact from 20 miles distance.
You can do a lot of things with these. For example, you can set them to alert you in case of power outages at home, use the LED flashlight in dark environments, access 7 National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and 4 Environment Canada weather channels with non-stop broadcasts, and talk handsfree using the iVOX speech feature.

The 2-way radios can be charged in several ways: with the standard method, using a dual drop-in charger, with the miniUSB port and the miniUSB car charger, or AA alkaline batteries for a quicker solution, which provides up to 31 hours of continuous use.

Switch Mouse Brings New Ergonomic Computer Mouse Solution

Switch Mouse Brings New Ergonomic Computer Mouse Solution

The Switch Mouse from Humanscale might dethrone the HandshoeMouse, which is considered to be the best computer mouse for its unique shape that holds your palm in a relaxing position. One difference between the two is the price. The Horse, also known as HandshoeMouse, can be ordered at €119.95, while the Switch Mouse costs $78 at Sitbetter.

We read about it and found out that it won several prestigious awards including an iF Product Design Award 2008 and a Good Design Award.
The optical Switch Mouse developed by Humanscale Design Studio, a company focused on ergonomic design, started to ship this summer at a retail price of $120 with 2 new innovations: the base in the shape of the "V" letter for minimizing wrist pronation, and the navigation dish that replaces the traditional scrolling wheel, reducing muscle activity and enabling users to scroll through pages in all 4 directions with one touch.

More than that, it features the size-adjustability system called the Extender, which allows the user to custom its form for both left and right hands of any size. Then there’s the palm support to increase wrist positions safety, as well as 3 user-programmable buttons. With these elements you can move your hand at 45 degrees and reduce repetitive motion stress.

The mouse has very few system requirements, while the specification list includes: 800 dpi resolution, Micro Switch, up to 70mA power consumption, 1,000,000 cycles mechanical life, 150 cm cable length and an USB connector.
It might not be the best gaming mouse on the market but it surely is a great solution for those working many hours on the computer.

(Thanks, Dan!)
